'RUMBLEFISH' - CRUISE & FISH
- Fish for wild king salmon and coastal ling cod - $75. Includes poles, ice, fish storage and vacuum packaging.
- Whale Watching Cruise - $35. Imagine watching the majestic whales as they migrate up the scenic Mendocino Coast from the comfort of a 50-foot all-weather, heated boat, certified by the U.S. Coast Guard. Available December 26-April.

BIRDWATCHING VACATION
There are 70 million birdwatchers in the United States. It is one of the fastest growing spectator activities. Brewery Gulch Inn with its nearby meadow and surrounding woods is a natural, attractive bird environment, which has included sightings of the rarely seen pileated woodpecker. The Inn, working with the local Audubon Society, has created a package to entice both novice and expert bird watchers.
- Admission to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens for an additional $10 per person.
(Over 150 species of coastal birds hasbeen recorded, and on a typical tour approximately 50 species are spotted.)
- A special backpack picnic, complete with china, and linens-$75 for
two. (See menu below).
- Learn about Song Bird Coffee on a tour of nearby Thanksgiving Coffee
Company, dedicated to the preservation of songbird habitat.
- An optional addition to the package is a virgin redwood birdhouse made of
the same eco-salvaged redwood that makes the architecture of Brewery Gulch Inn so
stunning - $65.

Please allow our concierge to recommend some of our favorite locations in Mendocino County and on the North Coast. We will provide you with a map and detailed instructions. One of our favorite destinations is the hike to Russian Gulch State Park waterfalls, or, if you prefer, you can spend a lazy afternoon beachcombing at Ten Mile Beach, venture out to the Mendocino Botanical Gardens to birdwatch or enjoy the sunset, retreat to the serene tranquility of Montgomery Woods old growth redwoods, or take a nice leisurely walk alongside Big River to observe river wildlife and pick berries.
Place your order with the innkeeper by 7:00 pm the day before or when you make reservations and receive your picnic in a special backpack containing deluxe service for two, including linens, china and flatware. The picnic will consist of two sandwiches on sourdough bread, Chef's choice of salad (potato, pasta, other), fresh fruit salad, cheese & fresh fruit, bottled water, potato chips, dessert, and your choice of beverage. $75.00
