We have pared down our approach to suit the eco-friendliness of the Inn and its focus on creating an environment for guests who wish to experience a peaceful retreat. We extend that philosophy to our weddings to help you create a joyous celebration with as few of the usual hassles as possible.

Brewery Gulch Inn is an exceptional location for your wedding. Only one mile away from the charming, historical village of Mendocino, the Inn offers an exclusive privacy not available in the hustle and bustle of town. The inn is located on a sylvan hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean with both blue and white water ocean views. The Inn is ensconced in its own native woodland gardens and is surrounded by hundreds of acres of open meadow and forest land.

The distinctive Craftsman-style design utilizes eco-salvaged first growth virgin redwood timbers throughout the Inn in the handsome entry door, rafters, paneling, windows, door and window frames and deck rails. Arts & Crafts-style furnishings with colors chosen to harmonize with the Inn's natural setting adds to a sense of simple yet elegant comfort.

The reception room features a soaring steel, wood-burning fireplace and an impressive two-story skylight. The reception desk and adjacent wine bar are also handcrafted from the salvaged redwood. The first floor Great Room has 24-foot ceilings and redwood-framed French doors leading to a spacious ocean-view deck. Gourmet Magazine (August, 2002) says "this stylish new hotel sets a SoHo standard for design."

Our talented chef Rick Anderson can provide either a casual but elegant hors d'oeuvres reception or a more formal sit down dinner. The finest organic ingredients from local purveyors are used whenever possible. Up to 50 guests can be accommodated at an hors d'oeuvres reception in the Great Room and deck, or up to 35 guests for a sit down dinner. Whatever your choice, we will work with you to make your celebration memorable.

We work closely with a select list of top vendors for photography, cake, wines, flowers, videography and spa salons and will facilitate introductions and presentations. After an initial consultation, you will be able to reach us easily by phone or email. We will discount rooms at our best rate for your overnight stays for consultations and vendor meetings.
